When I first joined, my hope was to bring some hardware home. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect that I would get something even better than a medal…..meeting great people, eating to my heart’s content, forming friendships, paddling with gusto!, having soooooooo much fun, eating (again!), feeling the positive energy of our club, getting encouragement from each other, going to all the great festivals and regattas and the socials…..these are things I take away with me! – Carrie J.
